Professional development for rural schools

The nearest PD conference shouldn't be a four-hour drive.

The Educational Leadership Collective brings practical training to the teachers, coaches, and administrators serving small and rural schools — built for schools where one person wears five hats.

On-site workshops, leadership coaching, and customized professional development — brought directly to your district.

Dr. Kelley Finley
Founder, The ELC

Rural schools aren't small versions of big schools. They're their own thing — and they deserve PD built for exactly that.

In the room with educators, not just in front of them.

Who's behind this

Dr. Kelley Finley

Nearly two decades in rural Texas classrooms — as a teacher, department head, UIL director, and dual-credit instructor — most recently at Seymour ISD, where she was named Secondary Teacher of the Year in both 2024 and 2025.

Her doctoral research examined how rural athletic directors experience the leadership role — the same gap between training and reality that shapes everything the Collective builds.
